Fall Book Fair:
We wanted to thank all our famlies for helping make the Scholastic Fall Book Fair a HUGE Success!
We had a large number of famlies volunteer their time to help keep the book fair running, this made it so much easier to make
this a sucessful event. In addition to our great volunteers there were many famlies were able to come at some point
throughout the week and purchase books for themselves and off the studio wishlists. Because of you we were able to give
our studio's $5026.05 in free books and educational materials! This doesn't even include the wish list books they received
from famliies. WOW! We look forward to saying thank you with our 50% off Scholastic Book Fair in the spring.
Parent
Room:
For those
of you who volunteer at the school during the school day, the Parent Room is now available for you! The Parent Room is located in the Cupola, between the two hallways into the building. If you are working on a project, please utilize this room, rather than the Media Center, whenever possible. This is a particular
help to Staff, who must use the Media Center for breaks, lunch, and private conversations. Of course,
copying, laminating and binding will still happen in the Media Center, as that is where the equipment is. Please be aware,
if you are working in the Media Center for a large project, you should plan to stop working (or move to the Parent Room!) from 11am-1pm to accommodate
staff lunch time.
